I found this service on the internet when my mom was in a rehab. She needed a manicure and pedicure for health purposes. She was learning to walk again after an illness and needed to be able to safely grab hold of her wheelchair and walker. I personally feel that the facility should offer this type of service. However, most places do not. I reached out via email through the mani-care site and got an immediate response from the owner even though she was on vacation. She was honest, helpful, efficient, and friendly. We set up a date for her technician to come out. The tech then followed up prior to her arrival. I was blown away by the easy to use site, professionalism, and service! I just can't say thank you enough for all you have done. There really is a need for your service and the fact that you donate a portion back to a charity is wonderful! Thank you again!

Spend the money and get your loved one in the hospital something nice. It's a service even Sloan Kettering doesn't provide, and for our family member a pedicure was long overdue. Our aesthetician was on time, friendly, and the real service she provided was her upbeat chat and fun experience distracting from the unhappy situation. Our relative enjoyed her blue braids, asked her about herself, and just generally enjoyed the attention. He unexpectedly passed away the following week. As grieved as we are, I'm SO happy we spent that money. It's a good memory. And there aren't any more opportunities to give him anything, right? We are so thankful for the wonderful service. It meant everything.

ManiCare provides such an amazing service. My mother in law was in the hospital and rehab facility for a few months and ManiCare was able to send someone out for her several times. Having her nails done while in the hospital really made her feel good. Cynthia, her manicurist, was amazing - she did a fantastic job and was friendly and professional. I ordered this for my mother who was in the hospital and they went above and beyond to accommodate her. I am so happy they were able to take care of her. My father was recently hospitalized and, as an unfortunate result of ongoing treatment, his fingernails became brittle, flaky, and broken. My mother and I tried to repair his nails, but professional care was necessary. I contacted Kate (after finding her company online) and she quickly sent a member of her team to my father's bedside at the hospital. The manicurist was friendly, caring, and experienced; not only did she brighten my father's day, she left his nails looking great! Kate was a pleasure to deal with as well. It's my greatest pleasure to give this business 5 stars and I wish I could give it 10. I reached out to Kate for a last minute need of mobile pedicure services for my mom, a former cancer patient whose travel is limited. Kate reached back out immediately and miraculously had the availability. The day we had with Rosalita, the nail tech, was unbelievably good. Rosalita arrived on time, was beyond professional and lovely to talk to, and our pedicures were honestly the best we'd ever had. This is an amazing way to make a very sick loved one feel better. Recently a dear friend was dying of a rare cancer and I called all around trying to find someone to accompany me to her house to give her a manicure and pedicure. No luck. So I went to Hospice and they too could not help me. This is a very sensitive approach to something that might make someone feel better...at least for a little while. And sometimes you can't ask for more than that!
